A note from the team

Why we’re building Ruvoa

At Ruvoa, we’re interested in the question underneath our goals: what are we building our lives around, and why?

There’s plenty of advice on becoming more productive, earning more, and getting ahead. It’s harder to find space to ask whether those are the things we actually want.

Ambition matters to us. So does understanding where it comes from. You can become very good at achieving goals without asking why they became important in the first place.

Our approach draws on engineering, decision-making, and philosophy, including questions explored in the Bhagavad Gita:

  • What is enough?
  • What is worth wanting?
  • How much should our happiness depend on outcomes?
  • How do you stay ambitious without letting the future make the present feel inadequate?

We don’t have settled answers. Those questions are part of why we’re building Ruvoa.

We want to make it easier to step back and examine what you’re pursuing, what it costs, what you already have, and whether your choices reflect what matters to you.

  • What am I pursuing?
  • Why?
  • What does it cost?
  • What do I already have?
  • Where am I contradicting myself?
  • What tradeoffs am I making, and are they intentional?
  • What do I want the next chapter to look like?

Ruvoa shouldn’t give you our answers. It should help you understand yours.

We think there’s room for both. We’re building Ruvoa as something you can return to as your life changes, your priorities shift, and new questions come up.
